Oxfam Shop

The Oxfam Shop sells a variety of donated clothes,  accessories, linens, and homewares.  There is also a huge book room with a massive range of second-hand books.

The shop also stocks Fairtrade food, and sells the Oxfam Gifts Unwrapped - a novel idea for presents (give a goat, build a loo, pay for a teacher training course),  which comprise a gift card with information about the gift.  There are also a range of new slightly irreverent CathTate Cards, as well as Fairtrade and Oxfam cards.

How to Donate

The shop is happy to accept donations which can be dropped off during opening hours (there is an un-loading bay right outside the shop).  Although the shop does not sell any electrical goods, any such goods can be passed on to be sold on behalf of another charity. 

The shop always needs volunteers who are able to assist with a couple of hours per week.  There are plenty of jobs (including sorting, pricing, ironing, or working the till) - please contact the Manager for details.
