Citizens Advice Guernsey
Citizens Advice Guernsey is a busy local charity and is a member of the National Citizens Advice network. It provides an invaluable service to the community, helping around 3,500 people each year on a wide range of issues including: financial, employment, housing, relationships, consumer, and health. It is expected that in the next few years the demand for our service will increase especially with the pressures caused by the cost-of-living crisis.
We are very fortunate to have an enthusiastic and dedicated team of volunteers who keep the Citizens Advice Service running for the benefit of the local community, but we need more. From becoming a Generalist or a Money Adviser, to joining the Research & Campaigns team, or being part of the Office admin team, we have a wide range of volunteering opportunities.
If you are interested in joining Citizens Advice, please let us know. ?We are keen to grow our team of volunteers and full training will be provided according to the role. Just contact the office on 242734 or email email@example.com for more information.
And remember if YOU want FREE advice that is independent, impartial, and confidential, call Citizens Advice on 242266 or come in and see us on Bridge Avenue, just off The Bridge in St Sampson.
PLUS: The Friends of Citizens Advice, whose work helps fund Citizens Advice Guernsey, have recently opened a new shop on Mont Arrive and are urgently seeking new volunteers to join their team. Generally, volunteers work a half day shift once or twice a week. If you are interested in becoming one of the Friends of Citizens Advice, please contact Alison Vine on 07394 441500 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
