Community Service

The following information has been provided by the States of Guernsey Probation Service.

What is Community Service

Community Service is a brand new sentencing option for the Bailiwick of Guernsey run by the Probation Service.

It is tried and tested and has been running successfully in the UK and Jersey for many years.  It allows offenders the opportunity to perform unpaid work for our community in reparation for their offences, instead of going to prison or youth detention.

Who can request help?

The community.  All clubs, societies and non-profit making organisations are eligible to apply.
