Description Aims and Objectives

The purpose of the group is to enable post 16 learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, to take part in educational activities and events that they would not generally be able to do due to financial constraints. The group would also like to be able to help the student’s transition from college to the workplace.
 

Organisation and Management

The group is run by a working party of adults sympathetic to the needs of young people with learning differences and disabilities.

The core of the group committee will be five: 2 x Access staff members, 1 x parent, 1 x representative from an outside agency, 1 x other.
