Friends of The CroftMember Number: 333Description Aims and Objectives The Croft was opened in 1995 to provide basic residential respite care to children and adults with learning disabilities. It can be a short, planned holiday, weekend, or emergency care, and is available either day or night. The Croft also offers a play-scheme during school holidays. The Friends of The Croft aims to raise funds to support and help enrich the well being of all users of the respite facility.
Organisation and Management A committee of six people includes five parents/carers, plus one member of The Croft management. There is an elected Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Finance Through donations, plus fund-raising (e.g. raffles).
