Description Aims and Objectives

The Guernsey Alzheimer's Association is devoted entirely to the care and assistance of carers of people with dementia and their loved ones in Guernsey and the Bailiwick.

The Centre at Delancey is open frequently during the week to welcome carers seeking companionship, advice or just a cup of tea.

Sometimes modest financial support is available for specific needs which carers might have.
 

Organisation and Management

The Guernsey Alzheimer's Association LBG is a local organization with no outside affiliations. It is run by an elected committee with several helpers all giving their
time voluntarily.
 

Finance

The Association is financed entirely by fund raising activities and donations. There is no membership fee.

However the independent "Friends of the Guernsey Alzheimer's Association" was formed to support the organization and there is a membership fee of £12 per annum.
