Description Aims and Objectives

A school Parent Teacher Association for St. Sampson's Infant School.

The Association aims to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities not normally provided by the States of Guernsey Education Department.

As an ancillary thereto, and in furtherance of this object, the Association may:

a)  foster more extended relationships between the staff, parents, and others associated with the school

b)  engage in activities which support the school

Organisation and Management

The committee consists of a maximum of ten members, of whom two shall be members of staff, and eight parents.  A Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer are appointed from this committee.

The Head-teacher shall be the President of the Association.

Finance

Proceeds of fund-raising events, and donations.
