Description Aims and Objectives

A non-profit, self-help group, to provide support and information for people with Fibromyalgia, their family, and friends.

The support group works closely with the Fibromyalgia Association UK, a non-profit making organisation that works towards raising awareness of Fibromyalgia in the UK.

The group organises monthly support group meetings and other awareness events during the year.

Organisation and Management

The group was set up by the Group Co-ordinator in June 2007, and is run by a local committee.

Finance

Members pay an annual subscription, and the group receives donations from the public and other organisations.
