Description Aims and Objectives

The British Lung Foundation is a charity for the relief of people suffering from diseases of the lung, by support (information and self-help groups) and by promoting change (medical research and political lobbying).

The Foundation aims to:

  • provide information and education to publicise the extent of lung disease and need to advance medical research

  • provide support and advice for people living with lung disease, through information , and the Breathe Easy self-help network.

The local branch holds support group meetings, and fundraises (e.g. flag days).

 

Organisation and Management

A local Breathe Easy group, with a management committee.

 

Finance

Public donations and fund-raising events, such as flag days.
