Description Aims and Objectives

A group set up to reduce the prevalence of smoking amongst the young people within the Bailiwick of Guernsey. An educational package, together with other projects, is provided to meet the needs of young people.

To help broaden and support young people, and help raise self-esteem, the group owns some circus equipment, and has run a circus workshop. There are also classroom sessions in all schools, group meetings with young people, parties for younger children, and community awareness work.

Organisation and Management

The group is run by a committee of eight members.

Finance

With help from the States of Guernsey Board of Health, Lloyds TSB grant, and donations for specific events.
