Description Aims and Objectives

A group set up to raise money for the redevelopment of St. Stephen’s Community Centre, to provide the neighbourhood, and the island as a whole, with a community centre with easy access, convenient parking, which is welcoming, modern, smart, and available to all.

The St. Stephen’s Community Centre is used for youth activities, dramatic presentations, church activities, sporting groups, children’s parties, discos, uniformed groups, senior citizens activities and club meetings.

Organisation and Management

A committee comprising the trustees of St. Stephens Community Centre, the Deputy Wardens of St. Stephen’s Church, and the Treasurer of St. Stephen’s Community Centre, plus four other members will run the group.

Finance

By appealing widely for the necessary funds within the parish, and also the wider community.
