Description Aims and Objectives

The Society's aims are:

  • To encourage research in all fields of work concerning Alderney.

  • To preserve and record structures, sites and chattels of interest to the island.

  • To assist the conservation of the environment of the island.

  • To encourage scientific and cultural activities.

 

Organisation and Management

The society is managed by an elected Council who elect a President every three years from their membership. Five Trustees are appointed by the Council, who own all land, buildings and chattels vested in their name.

 

Finance

Membership subscriptions, donations, entrance fees and sales at the Alderney Museum.
