Chernobyl Children Life Line - Guernsey LinkMember Number: 161Description Aims and Objectives To bring children who have been affected by the Chernobyl disaster of 26th April 1986, from Belarus to Guernsey for a one month stay to improve their health. Funds are required for transportation costs, and local families host children at their own expense.
Organisation and Management Properly constituted charity, having a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer and a maximum of six other committee members. Regular meetings and A.G.M. are held.
Finance Funds raised by fund-raising and donations. The charity does not receive any grant from the States of Guernsey.
