Description Aims and Objectives

An unincorporated association established in Guernsey, the members of which meet once a month for dinner on the last Friday of each month and make, in respect of each meeting, cash donations to be applied for the benefit of charitable institutions in Guernsey. A locally based charity is elected annually as the beneficiary of moneys raised.

Organisation and Management

Two founder member trustees of the Friday Knights Charitable Fund, plus the Treasurer, Secretary, and the Chairman Speaker. Officers are elected annually.

Finance

The club is financed by members’ subscriptions and donations, plus one annual Grand Raffle. The aim is to raise between £2500-£3500 per annum. The Friday Knight Club was founded in April 1978 and since then has raised over £39,000 for local charities.
