Description Aims and Objectives

A charitable trust designed to accept capital moneys and assets, the income of which is to be applied in the furtherance of charitable objects in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Persons wishing to pl assets in trust, by will, settlement, or otherwise, may use this trust, instead of creating one, by writing to the trustees stating how the funds should be applied. The income from funds held at present are to be distributed (after allowing for inflation) for the benefit of the old, sick, handicapped or needy people resident in the Bailiwick.

Detailed information, and a copy of the trust deed, is obtainable from the Secretary.

Organisation and Management

Decisions are taken by six trustees drawn from the finance industry, legal profession and charities. Secretarial and accounting services are provided by the Association of Guernsey Charities.

Finance

No costs involved. All income is distributed without deduction.
