Description Aims and Objectives

A mainly self-help group formed in April 1987 and affiliated to the Psoriasis Association of Great Britain, but autonomous. Ambition is to provide a centre in Guernsey with all the facilities to treat psoriasis. Immediate aims are to increase knowledge about psoriasis amongst sufferers, health-care professionals and the public; encourage social contact between sufferers and to relieve the psychological and social problems associated with the condition through mutual support; and to promote research into the causes, nature and treatment of psoriasis.

By a committee of officers and seven members.
