Description Aims and Objectives

The local group of Amnesty International which is a world-wide organisation seeking the release of prisoners of conscience, fair trials for prisoners of conscience, and the end of torture and the death penalty.

Organisation and Management

The international movement has an International Council; the local group meets monthly to decide upon its activities.

Finance

Donations from the public and various fund-raising activities. An annual contribution is sent to headquarters, and, on a local level, funds are required to bring speakers to Guernsey and to publicise the movement.
