Christmas Charity Jackpot
continues to rise

The first prize for the 2007 lottery continues to rise. It currently stands at £300,000. The more tickets that are sold, the higher the jackpot will continue to rise.
The 2006 Christmas lottery was the most successful ever, with the jackpot reaching £447,500.
Each year, the proceeds from the Christmas Lottery are split between Jersey and Guernsey, and distributed to local charities. The money has to be used for projects within the island, and the Association of Guernsey Charities is always keen to support a wide variety of local good causes.
