Appeal.gg is a unique facility operated by the Submarine Charitable Trust. It allows anyone using the the internet to make a donation to a charity online by using their credit card.
Normally, to be able to accept online donations, an organisation would have to pay large sums of money for the necessary software, and for the licence to be able to take money from credit or debit cards. However, this facility has been financed and produced by the Submarine Charitable Trust.
Organisations that are members of The Association of Guernsey Charities can apply to the Submarine Charitable Trust to join the scheme. They will then have their own page on the appeal.gg website (a link directly to this page is also placed on the members page on the Association of Guernsey Charities website).
Organisations can then promote the online donation facility to the public. Any money donated is collected by the Submarine Charitable Trust, and then paid to the organisation.
