Description Aims and Objectives
To bring children who have been affected by the Chernobyl disaster of 26th April 1986, from Belarus to Guernsey for a one month stay to improve their health.
We are always looking for Host Families who would like to have two children to stay with them for the month of June. The group partake in a well organised programme of activities, accompanied by an interpreter.
We also Fund Raise and use the funds raised locally to pay for the children's fares to Guernsey and help host families with costs.
Organisation and Management
Properly constituted charity, having a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer and a maximum of six other committee members. Regular meetings and A.G.M. are held.
