Description Aims and Objectives
The Art and Islands Foundation aims to promote the Channel Islands as an Art destination by inviting leading artists from around the world to work on, and respond to, the islands of Lihou, Herm, Sark, Alderney, Guernsey and Jersey.
The Foundation believes that such an initiative will enrich the texture and quality of island life, stimulate the economy, and raise the profile of the islands internationally.
Organisation and Management
The Art and Islands Foundation is run by a Board of Trustees.
Finance from corporate sponsorship, international art/culture funding organisations, local government support, and donations.
